Grouplove Get Tied Up, Covered in Chocolate for ‘I’m With You’ Video
Two years after the Coldplay-esque running-in-reverse clip for “Tongue Tied” became a fixture on those MTV affiliates that continue to play music, the video for Grouplove‘s latest single, “I’m With You,” finds members of the band getting spun around, wrapped with string and blown back by the volume of their sound. Where one segment takes place on what looks to be a snowy night, the other goes down in front of a white background where, it seems, anything goes. Watch our premiere of the video right here.

“Our friend and director Cameron Duddy told us he wanted to tie us up and pour chocolate sauce and feathers all over us, and that he would let us hold his pet pig during the shoot,” drummer Ryan Rabin tells Rolling Stone. “Somehow our favorite video thus far came out of that experience.”
“I’m With You,” a thumping, melancholy love song, is now the third single off September’s Spreading Rumours, a record that, per Rolling Stone‘s review, “retains the goofy amiability of their debut and cranks the Nineties influences.” See all the band’s upcoming dates — including the Honda Civic Tour — here.
