Dierks Bentley Writes Theme Song for Biker Show
Biker Battleground Phoenix premieres on History on July 1st, bringing viewers into the world of motorcycle machismo and customized bike construction with a little help from Dierks Bentley, who sings the reality show’s theme song.
The 20 Best Motorcycle Moments in Music History
A bike enthusiast who grew up in central Phoenix, Bentley was approached by History to write a stomping, countrified biker anthem for the series, which takes an inside look at competing motorcycle manufacturers in Arizona. He responded with “Ride On,” a song that touches on everything from the fierce brotherhood of bike gangs to the thrill of the open desert highway. Jingle Punks Music, the New York-based publishing firm responsible for the themes of The Voice, American Pickers and Real Housewives of Atlanta, co-wrote and produced the tune.
The show’s premiere is still 11 days away, but fans can get a sneak peak of Biker Battleground Phoenix and “Ride On” by checking out a newly-released behind-the-scene video, which intercuts footage of Bentley’s recording session with clips from the show. (Watch below.)
