Michael Stipe, the Roots, the Flaming Lips, Taj Mahal and Patti Smith are among the performers who will take the stage tonight for the 21st annual Tibet House Benefit Concert at Carnegie Hall. The show is known for unlikely collaborations; this year will likely see the Flaming Lips jam with Phillip Glass and Patti Smith sing with Michael Stipe.
