Two for Texas: Eli Young Band’s ‘House Party’ Music Festival Expands
Eli Young Band are bringing back their popular House Party concert this fall, and for the first time the party will take place in two completely different neighborhoods in a two-week period, with unique supporting acts along for each show. The powerhouse group, currently riding high with their new single, “Dust,” will stage their second annual House Party concert in Arlington, Texas, on November 8th. On November 15th, they’ll move the festivities to Houston.
At the first show, set for Arlington’s Globe Life Park, country superstars Gary Allan and Pat Green and buzzworthy Texas-Oklahoma duo Maddie & Tae (“Girl in a Country Song”) will take the stage, while the following week’s House Party at Houston’s Minute Maid Park, will feature Texas chart-toppers Josh Abbott Band, singer-songwriter Thomas Rhett, whose “It Goes Like This” and “Get Me Some of That” have both hit No. 1, and Lone Star state mainstay Cody Johnson.
Tickets for the November 8th Arlington show will be available here beginning Friday, August 29th. Tickets for the Houston show go on sale Friday at Ticketmaster.com. Last year’s inaugural House Party in Arlington exceeded expectations, with more than 18,000 fans in attendance.
What promises to set the shows apart, EYB explains, is that the concert venues are optimized for a fan-friendly experience — adding easy parking and short bar lines to a stellar lineup of performers. Tickets for both shows start at just $25 with a price increase taking effect September 15th.
