Dierks Bentley Recruits Stars, Bikes and Birds for Charity Concert
Dierks Bentley has announced the lineup for this year’s installment of his “Miles & Music for Kids” charity concert and motorcycle ride. Set for Sunday, September 28th, the all-day event raises money for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals throughout the country and, specifically, the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.

Joining Bentley, whose latest single is the high-flying “Drunk on a Plane,” on the ride and concert will be Randy Houser, Kip Moore, Chris Young and Jon Pardi, with more artists to be added later. The ride portion of the day begins at a Harley Davidson dealership in Columbia, Tennessee, and winds its way to Riverfront Park in downtown Nashville, where Bentley and friends will take the stage.
This year, the “Miles & Music for Kids” initiative got an extra boost from Bentley’s “Riser Bird” campaign. For a donation, supporters can have cut-outs of the Bentley’s Riser logo staked throughout a friend’s yard, as if a flock of birds has landed. Nashville luminaries from Kix Brooks to radio personality Blair Garner have been “flocked,” as well as a Rolling Stone Country editor.
“Miles & Music for Kids” has raised more than $2.5 million for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. Bentley, an avid biker, recently recorded the theme song to a new motorcycle reality series.
