Watch Redfoo Explain Party Rock Mansion’s Wild ‘Taco Tuesdays’
Redfoo‘s Party Rock Mansion is more than just his first solo project outside of LMFAO — it’s his actual home, as well. Every Tuesday, Redfoo and his crew host a party called Taco Tuesday, and the performer took Rolling Stone through what a Taco Tuesday entails.
According to the rapper, singer and DJ, Tuesdays include business as usual for his friends and team. Still, throughout the day, everyone is preparing for the party at the mansion, texting girls and ordering tacos for the festivities. “[Tacos] are one of my favorite foods,” he explains.
To keep the night a continuous success, Redfoo has a few guidelines to how he approaches the evening. For starters, he drinks energy drinks while drinking alcohol “to keep the level balanced.” Surrounding the party are “personal protectors,” to keep the party house from becoming a “trap house.”
One of Redfoo’s strictest policies, however, is that no men are allowed in the party unless they bring three “nachos,” which are girls that are “not yours,” according to the host. “You can’t have just your girlfriend or your mom or something like that because then it gets weird,” he says. “If you bring just your girl, then someone doesn’t know that’s your girl, especially me. I be comin’ in and I be freakin’ everybody on the booty.”
Of course, there are a few glitches. Cops get called by disgruntled neighbors who haven’t checked their Twitter DMs or Facebook for invites, and the shenanigans usually get shut down in the middle of the night — at least for a moment — if there are complaints. Trash is also an issue that Redfoo is working to alleviate during the actual event, since by Wednesday morning, he and his crew are back at it again. “That’s basically an average day.”
