Justin Timberlake Seeks out Lovebirds in ‘Not a Bad Thing’ Video
Today in Things That Will Make You Feel All Warm and Fuzzy Inside, Justin Timberlake premiered his new video for “Not a Bad Thing” on Ellen, which doubles as a documentary about the search for a couple who got engaged on the Long Island Railroad to the tune of the same track.
As the documentarians scour New York City for their mystery couple – goofy text message pop-ups included – the video includes a bunch of heartwarming interviews with couples about their own proposals, as well as the struggles and rewards of finding love, or letting love find you. While it looks like the filmmakers may have found the lovebirds, the clip ends with a “To be continued…” message. Following the clip, Ellen DeGeneres asked viewers to get in touch with the show if they know the couple so Timberlake can finally meet them. So for now, it seems, the search for true love continues.

“Not a Bad Thing” shows up on part two of Timberlake’s 2013 album, The 20/20 Experience. The pop star is about to embark on a European and U.K. tour, but will return to the States this July for a string of summer dates. During his brief respite from the road, Timberlake helped his pal Jimmy Fallon break in his new gig as host of the Tonight Show by showing up for the fifth installment of their “History of Rap” series.
