Luke Bryan Twists and Turns on ‘Roller Coaster’
Since Luke Bryan released Crash My Party last year, all four of its singles have reached Number One on Billboard‘s country charts. And the seemingly unstoppable Bryan can likely anticipate another steady climb with the album’s latest single, “Roller Coaster.”

The entertainer gave fans a preview of Crash My Party‘s fifth release, an impressive number from a single album, during his LP Field performance at last week’s CMA Music Festival. Written by Cole Swindell and Bryan’s guitarist Michael Carter, “Roller Coaster” likens the ups, downs and twists of a summer romance, born near the ocean naturally, to an “old beach roller coaster.”
Bryan discussed the single at the nightly CMA Fest press conferences. “The first time I heard it, it was one of the first songs that I knew would be on Crash My Party,” he told reporters. “I listened to it, and it just floored me: the visuals of it, and obviously the fact that I grew up going to the beach.” (Quote via Billboard.)
Bryan, currently in the midst of his That’s My Kind of Night Tour, will play St. Louis on Thursday.
