Listen to Jack White’s Complete Bonnaroo Headlining Set
This past Saturday night at Bonnaroo, Jack White electrified a crowd of over 70,000 with an incredible two-and-a-half hour, 26-song set list that covered all corners of his career, from the White Stripes and Raconteurs to Dead Weather and new LP Lazaretto. (By comparison, Kanye West, the previous night’s headliner, only played for a scant 90 minutes.) We deemed White’s set one of the best things we saw at Bonnaroo 2014, and if you weren’t able to catch the show live at the Farm, now you can listen to the performance for yourself with sterling soundboard quality audio thanks to the Jack White fans over at Reddit.

In addition to performing almost all his major hits and favorites from his various projects, White also dusted off “Astro,” from the White Stripes’ self-titled debut, for the first time in years, as well as treated the audience to covers of Led Zeppelin’s “The Lemon Song” and Dick Dale and the Del-Tones’ “Misirlou.”
For White, Bonnaroo was a hometown show – he’s planted his roots in Nashville, just an hour away – and keeping with Tennessee’s Grand Ol’ music history, portions of White’s set featured some of the richest country music elements you’d find at Bonnaroo. At one point, during “I’m Slowly Turning Into You,” White paid tribute to Nashville all-stars George Jones, Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton.
Because much of Bonnaroo – including White’s headlining set – was broadcast live thanks to an innovative XBox Live app, fans at home were able to peel a high-quality live recording – both video and audio-only – from the app.
