Tim McGraw, Faith Hill Go Home to ‘Mama’s’ in New Video
“What I wouldn’t give for a slow down,” sings Tim McGraw in the first verse of his new single, “Meanwhile Back at Mama’s.” “‘Cause where I come from only the horses run.”

The ballad, written by Jeffrey Steele, Tom Douglas and Jaron Johnston, reminisces about a more carefree, simpler life, without the worries of the fast-paced real world. McGraw and powerhouse vocalist wife Faith Hill debuted the tune as a duet on the ACM Awards back in April.
“The moment I heard this song I knew it was something I wanted to record,” says McGraw. “I love singing with Faith, and the warmth and beauty of her vocal really made this song what it is.”
For the song’s video (above), the couple is seen in two scenes that mimic the very different facets of their own lives: It opens with McGraw sporting a tuxedo and Hill in a floor-length, beaded gown, singing at the ACM Awards. Cut to scenes on their farm just outside of Nashville, where, clad in jeans and casual shirts, the McGraws roam the property hand-in-hand and make homemade bread inside their farmhouse.
“Meanwhile Back at Mama’s” will appear on McGraw’s upcoming Sundown Heaven Town album, set for release September 16th.
