Watch the Undertaker Tombstone a Turkey, Terrify Jimmy Fallon
On Monday night’s episode of Raw, the Undertaker somehow managed to escape from Bray Wyatt’s bayou dungeon (don’t ask) and exact revenge on the man who had kidnapped him and devoured his soul (double don’t ask). And, boy, is he making the most of his freedom.
The wrestling icon – who will mark 25 years with WWE later this month at Survivor Series – made a surprise cameo on Wednesday night’s The Tonight Show, a rare public appearance for a guy who barely speaks (and is undead). Maybe he’s still searching for the guys who toilet-papered his house?
Anyway, the whole segment began with Jimmy Fallon reaching deep into the show’s suggestion box, where he read a request from a fan: Why not have the Undertaker pop in to deliver his signature Tombstone Piledriver to turkey? Not an actual turkey, of course, but WWE wrestler Brad Maddox (who, let’s be honest, was probably looking for something to do anyway). Fallon laughed and declared it impossible, until ‘Taker’s bone-chilling music hit, and the Dead Man strolled onto the Tonight Show set – just like in WWE, his entrance took forever – and drove Maddox’s dome into the mat.
As Fallon came over (and serious wrestling fans were having Gobbledy Gooker flashbacks), Undertaker stared deep into the host’s soul, potentially terrifying him and definitely making him wonder why he got into show business in the first place. You gotta hand it to ‘Taker: Dude’s 50 years old, and he’s still able to make pinning a guy in a turkey costume look like a nightmare.
