Lady Gaga to Close Down Roseland Ballroom
Lady Gaga will play the last shows ever at New York City’s Roseland Ballroom, which will close its doors for good next year. The pop star is scheduled for an intimate, four-night hometown residency on March 28th, 30th, 31st and April 2nd.
Tickets will go on sale through Ticketmaster on November 25th at 10 a.m. EST, priced at $50 for the floor and $200 for the mezzanine. Members of Gaga’s Little Monsters fan club, however, will be able to register for first access to tickets starting today, with randomly selected users receiving invitations and codes to purchase tickets on November 21st at 10 a.m. Citi card members will also have access to pre-sale starting November 22nd at 10 a.m.

Gaga has only performed live a handful of times in connection with her third studio album, Artpop, and has only one date (a December 8th show in London) scheduled before her Roseland residency. Still, if the pop star’s recent gigs at the MTV Video Music Awards and iTunes Festival, as well as her poignant performance at the inaugural YouTube Music Awards, are any indication expect Gaga to bring the theatrics and plenty of emotion. Who knows: maybe she’ll even bring the flying dress from her recent “ArtRave.”
This past weekend, Gaga did double duty as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live, poking fun at herself, playing out an array of characters and even bringing out R. Kelly for a steamy performance of their Artpop collaboration, “Do What U Want.”
