Lady Gaga Taking ‘ArtRave’ on the Road
In November, Lady Gaga celebrated the release of her new album Artpop with a private event in New York City she called “ArtRave.” Gaga is now taking that concept on the road next year, with “ArtRave: The Artpop Ball” tour. She’ll kick things off on May 4th in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, following her residency at the Roseland Ballroom in New York. The trek will see her visiting several cities where she canceled tour dates earlier this year in order to undergo hip surgery as well as playing new cities. Tickets for the tour will go on sale beginning December 9th, though Gaga is holding a presale today, beginning at 2 p.m. EST, on LittleMonsters.com.
21 Applause-Worthy Facts About Lady Gaga‘s Eye-Popping Fashion
Since she released Artpop last month, Lady Gaga has kept busy, appearing at awards shows and filming holiday specials with the Muppets. Despite being everywhere, Artpop dropped from its debut Number One position to Number Eight after one week. Still, the interest for all things Gaga isn’t waning just yet: News came out yesterday that a Japanese company has created prototypes of a life-size Lady Gaga doll that plays music and messages when someone puts his or her head to its chest.
