Justin Bieber Accused of Egging Neighbor’s House
Justin Bieber has attracted the attention of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office after a neighbor complained that the pop star pelted his house with eggs, the Associated Press reports.
The neighbor claims that he and his daughter were on the balcony of their Calabasas home on Thursday night videotaping the incident while Bieber threw eggs at their house. Sheriff department spokesman Steve Whitmore said that Bieber was named as a suspect in a misdemeanor vandalism and assault crime report, and that a charge could rise to a felony depending on the damage estimate.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Bieber’s neighbors in the tony gated community have complained about the 19-year-old pop star before, accusing him of throwing loud parties and driving recklessly.
Bieber had just concluded a year filled with bad PR moments, including a charge for graffiti in Brazil, mishandling the Argentine flag in Buenos Aires, passing out during a London performance, having his monkey confiscated and quanrantined in Germany, defacing a photo of former president Bill Clinton and leaving an inappropriate comment after a tour of Anne Frank’s house in Amsterdam. R&B singer Usher recently felt compelled to come to his younger colleague’s defense in an interview with the Associated Press. “The beautiful part about it is that those that are invested in a long term story you understand that there are peaks and valleys in every person’s life some,” he said. “Unfortunately the reality is he has to live with a camera in front of him, but what he chooses to do on or off camera is analyzed or scrutinized in some off way.”
Bieber also created some confusion among his followers on Christmas Eve when he announced on twitter that he was officially retiring. That turned out to be a joke, however, and it appears that he’s been working on new music in Toronto with producer Douglas Romanow. Bieber has just released a new compilation album, Journals along with his movie, Believe.
