Watch Brian Williams Serve Up Snoop Dogg’s ‘Gin and Juice’
Serious props to the team at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, who must spend hours on end compiling and stringing together millisecond-long clips of Brian Williams on the NBC Nightly News so that we might be graced with the simple joy of watching the anchor bemoan all the drama in the LBC.

B-Dubs’ chopped-up old school flow was on display again Monday night when Fallon aired a new clip showing Williams rapping Snoop Dogg‘s classic “Gin and Juice,” while getting an assist on the hook from trusty correspondents/hype-people Kate Snow and Richard Engel. Sure, Williams’ dulcet, velveteen tones make breaking news about global crises easier to handle, but we’re starting to think they’re way more conducive to spitting hot fire.
Fallon’s been getting Williams to rap since his days at Late Night, manipulating the newsman’s broadcast to recreate Warren G’s classic “Regulate,” Young MC’s “Bust a Move” and Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch’s “Good Vibrations.” During his first month at the Tonight Show, Fallon brought the feature back, getting Williams and Lester Holt to recreate the Sugar Hill Gang’s “Rapper’s Delight.” With any luck, this all ends with Williams joining Fallon and Justin Timberlake on stage for the next installment of their “History of Rap” series.
