Puff Daddy Enlists Your Favorite Rapper for ‘Big Homie’ Video
“You could go to any hood / Bet they know me,” Sean Combs boasts on his stark new single, “Big Homie.” The rapper/mogul backs up that claim in the track’s star-studded music video, which features cameos from an array of hip-hop titans.

In the clip above, Puff Daddy (along with collaborators Rick Ross and French Montana) journey from hood to hood: In Harlem, they drop by a seafood joint, where they encounter Ashanti, Jermaine Dupri, A$AP Rocky, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz, Nelly and Bow Wow. The fur-clad Bad Boy icon also ventures to Crenshaw Boulevard in Los Angeles, mugging for the camera with his son Christian and a blazing Snoop Dogg. Then, after an exhausting evening of being a homie, Puff and crew drop by a Miami Waffle House with Rozay and Wale.
In the minimal, repetitive track, Combs and company drop straightforward brags about ladies and cash over wispy synth-strings and skittering snares. It’s the first taste of the upcoming Puff Daddy LP, MMM, though no release date has been set thus far.
Combs reclaimed the Puff Daddy name earlier this month, ending a dramatic saga more suspenseful than the Star Wars franchise. The rapper began his music career in the early Nineties alternating between the name Puffy and his real name. He executive produced Notorious B.I.G.‘s 1994 debut album, Ready to Die as Sean “Puffy” Combs then, in 1997, started his new era as Puff Daddy with the album, No Way Out. His 2001 album The Saga Continues. . . was his first under the P. Diddy moniker, and his 2006 LP Press Play was filed under Diddy. “Puff Daddy” was officially resurrected in a one-minute trailer for “Big Homie.”
