SiriusXM to Air Arcade Fire, Pitbull Concerts on New Year’s Eve
Music fans who aren’t able to attend some of the best concerts happening on New Year’s Eve will still be able to listen to them. SiriusXM is planning to broadcast several concerts and DJ sets by a variety of artists live on New Year’s Eve and into New Year’s Day across its channels.

Among these offerings are shows by Pitbull, Willie Nelson, Arcade Fire, Gregg Allman, the Flaming Lips, Widespread Panic and Hank Williams, Jr.. The DJ performances include sets by Steve Aoki, Eric Prydz, Sander van Doorn, Cedric Gervais and more. Additionally, the satellite radio network has also launched five “party music” channels for New Year’s Day, with focuses on pop hits (Channel 3), classic rock (25), new wave (33), country (58) and punk (41).
