Beyonce Gives ‘XO’ Its Live Debut
Beyoncé took the world by surprise on Friday, releasing the 14 tracks and 17 videos of her new album, Beyoncé, at midnight with no prior warning ever leaking out. It just so happens that the Queen Bey is still in the middle of her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, so at her stop last night in Chicago, she treated her fans to the live debut of “XO,” the 10th track on Beyoncé.

“I’m gonna sing you a song which is a brand-new song,” she said as she introduced the number. “It hasn’t even been out for 24 hours. I’m gonna sing this for y’all because it was written for y’all.” She then invited the crowd to join her in a call and response on the song. “This is the first time, something I’ll never forget,” she said.
As Billboard reports, Beyoncé will be releasing “XO” as the third single for the new album, following “Blow” and the Jay Z-featuring “Drunk in Love.”
