McCartney will perform alongside previously announced headliners Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry and Elton John. The lineup also includes Phoenix, Fun., Maroon 5, J. Cole, Muse, Tiësto, Chris Brown, Keith Urban, Miguel, Bruno Mars, Zedd, Tim McGraw, Ke$ha, Drake, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Benny Benassi, and Queen performing with Adam Lambert. Saturday afternoon at the “Festival Village,” there will be additional performances by Miley Cyrus, the Wanted, Jason DeRulo, the Band Perry, Avril Lavigne, Krewella, Cher Lloyd, Twenty One Pilots, Pete Tong and AWOLNATION with a special guest appearance by Ne-Yo.
Needless to say, the folks behind the event are quite proud of their Beatles get. “After only two years, the iHeartRadio Music Festival has attracted the biggest music artist in the world,” the event’s co-excutive producer John Sykes said in a statement. Co-excutive producer Tom Poleman added: “There’s no bigger icon in music.”
The festival is already sold out, but fans can still hear the big event: Clear Channel radio stations will broadcast the concert live in 150 markets nationwide. The fest will also air as a two-night special on the CW Network on September 30th and October 1st, according to All Access.
