Sandra Bullock Gets Soaked in Behind-the-Scenes ‘Gravity’ Clip
Expect to see an awful lot of Alfonso Cuarón’s Gravity come Sunday, March 2nd when the 86th Academy Awards air on ABC. The fantastic film starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney is nominated for ten Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Director and a Best Actress nod for Bullock. While we’re not sure how many statues Gravity will take home, we do know that it deserves all the recognition it has received. We also know that you will be able to take it home in the home video format of your choice before you know it, as the film hits store shelves in Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD tomorrow (February 25th).
Go Inside The Magic of ‘Gravity’
To mark the occasion, Rolling Stone has the privilege of unveiling this exclusive clip from the Gravity Blu-ray release. It features star Sandra Bullock discussing how she spent a large amount of time on the film underwater, as the crew used underwater sequences to mimic the weightlessness of floating through space. Bullock loved getting to spend time submerged so much that she would disappear into her character’s scenes to the point that she would need to go racing for a breath of air from her regulator. The clip is a great look at the magic of moviemaking and the perseverance of a dedicated actor.
