The Killers Tease Upcoming Clip for ‘Shot at the Night’
The Killers have just four records to their name, but enough monster jams to compile a new greatest-hits collection, Direct Hits, which will also feature two brand new tracks. The band has already released the audio for one such cut, “Shot at the Night,” and on Friday, the Killers will release the accompanying video, which was directed by by Roboshobo (né Robert Schober) and stars Bella Heathcote and Max Minghella (“It’s always nice to see legitimate actors do something good for well below their pay scale,” joked Killers drummer Ronnie Vannucci).

If your appetite needs whetting, now you can take an exclusive first look at a short teaser for the clip, which finds Heathcote going blindly through the motions of her droll Las Vegas life. It’s not a lot now, but we trust The Killers to deliver the grandiose goods tomorrow. “We always get a ton of treatments for videos where raunchiness and debauchery are at the forefront, regardless of what fire the song is stoking,” said frontman Brandon Flowers. “We liked that Robert’s treatment was different and classy, and he pulled it off.”
