The show comes just weeks before Cyrus starts her 38-date Bangerz tour in Vancouver on February 14th, which hits major arenas across North America. More notable, however, is that it marks the return of Cyrus to MTV primetime. She famously stole the VMA’s last August with her world-famous twerkfest, followed by a performace at the MTV’s Europe Music Awards in November, where she smoked a joint on stage.
