Avicii, M.I.A., Diplo Will Headline Ultra Music Festival 2014
Avicii, M.I.A., Diplo, MGMT and Tiësto are among the many diverse headliners slated to DJ and perform at the Ultra Music Festival Phase 1 next year. The 16th edition of the dance spectacle will take place on the weekend of Friday, March 28th at Bayfront Park in Miami.

The lineup includes over 100 artists playing EDM, rock, rap and more. The Live stage will feature headlining performances by Empire of the Sun, Pusha T, Dizzee Rascal and the Glitch Mob, among others, as well as special live sets by 2ManyDJs, Gesaffelstein and Basement Jaxx. The DJ stage will also feature headliners Afrojack, David Guetta, Kaskade, Zedd and more. Other notable performers include Waka Flocka Flame, Flosstradamus, Just Blaze, 12th Planet, Kill the Noise, Borgore, Paul Van Dyk and more.
The festival will also feature a special set by Carl Cox, who will spin in the Ultra Megastructure to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his Carl Cox and Friends Arena. Armin Van Buuren will host a special stage called A State of Trance 650 New Horizons Stage. DJ Eric Prydz will debut a new set he’s calling “Holo.”
This past year’s fest was the first to occur over two weekends. Headliners included Skrillex, Snoop Lion, Deadmau5 and Calvin Harris. Performers Swedish House Mafia told the audience to “turn on your hearts, turn off your brains,” after which they played a set marked by confetti and fireworks. The EDM trio’s set at the second weekend was their final live performance together before splitting.
