Robin Thicke Knows How to ‘Feel Good’
Robin Thicke trots out the glitz and glamour in the brand new video for “Feel Good,” the latest single from his 2013 smash LP Blurred Lines. Capturing a vibe somewhere between Broadway and an over-the-top Las Vegas show, the clip finds Thicke doing the ol’ song-and-dance routine amid a cadre of high-kicking chorus girls, grooving atop a rooftop and winning big at the roulette table. While all the boozing and carousing leaves Thicke writhing in a drunken, perhaps broken-hearted daze midway through the clip, our valiant hero somehow finds the will to crack a smile, pop a few more bottles of champagne and bust out a not-half-bad Carlton groove around the 2:55 mark.

The video caps off a massive year for Thicke, who arguably took home song of the summer honors with his smash “Blurred Lines” – though some, like our own Rob Sheffield and the estate of Marvin Gaye, were less fond of the inescapable hit, with the latter suing Thicke and the song’s producer Pharrell for allegedly ripping off the R&B legend’s “Got to Give It Up.” Still, the song helped Thicke notch two Grammy nominations for Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, while he’s also up for Best Pop Vocal Album for Blurred Lines.
Thicke will keep his 2013 momentum going into the new year with a 15-date North American tour set for late February and early March. The short trek will feature openers Jessie J and DJ Cassidy, and it kicks off at Atlanta’s Fox Theater on February 21st.
