Where Does ‘Blak and Blu’ Rank on Our 50 Best Albums of 2012 List?
Collecting two nights’ worth of material from the April 2013 Madison Square Garden charity shows, the video and audio collection contains five hours of performances and includes 45 songs by heavy hitters like the Allman Brothers Band, John Mayer, Blake Mills, Clark, Keith Richards and, of course, Clapton. Crossroads Guitar Festival 2013 also boasts behind-the-scenes footage, artist interactions and an array of collaborations.
As for Clark, his star has continued to rise in 2013 after he was tapped to open the Rolling Stones‘ concert at Boston’s TD Garden on June 12th, having first played with the band last December during their 50th anniversary shows at Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn and at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Clark also swept the 2013 Austin Music Awards earning Band of the Year, Musician of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Electric Guitarist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Blues/Soul/Funk Artist of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year.
