Tiesto and Friends Remix ‘Love & Run’
“Love & Run” (MOTi Remix), the spacious new song from Tiësto, Mark Alston, Baggi Begovic and Jason Taylor, opens with soaring synths and a smashing beat that reform as a driving pulse. Singer Teddy Geiger, known for his 2006 LP Underage Thinking, does well in the EDM space, applying youthful vocals remixed by rising star MOTi. “He’s a hot young producer,” Tiësto says, “and he’s done a great job adding a new twist. The original was a highlight in my sets all summer long.” “Love & Run” is from Dance (RED) Save Lives, Vol. 2 (out November 25), which also features collaborations from Katy Perry and DallasK, Coldplay and Swedish House Mafia and even Bob Marley with Jesse Rose. All proceeds go directly to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS in Africa.
Tiësto and 24 More DJs That Rule the World
(RED), founded in 2006 by Bono and Bobby Shriver, partners with artists and brands to benefit the Global AIDS Fund. “With the end of AIDS now within grasp,” says (RED) CEO Deborah Dugan, “we have so much to lose if we don’t make a lot of noise. That’s exactly what this album is designed to achieve.” For World AIDS Day on December 1st, (RED) is hosting a series of dance parties to raise funds and promote awareness for their cause. The party kicks off on November 30th at the Stereosonic Festival in Sydney, Australia; Rolling Stone will livestream the show.
