Arcade Fire Own Up to ‘Reflektor’ Campaign
Arcade Fire are indeed behind the “Reflektor” graffiti art campaign that has popped up around the country over the past few weeks. A new banner hanging on a building near the corner of Lafayette and Grand in Manhattan connects the band’s name to “Reflektor” for the first time, and advertises something – it’s not clear what – that is scheduled to happen at 9 p.m. on September 9th. Arcade Fire Tube tweeted a photo of the banner yesterday.
Tears for Fears Cover Arcade Fire’s ‘Ready to Start’
It’s the latest teaser in a summer filled with speculation about the band’s upcoming new album – due out on October 29th – and occasional hints from James Murphy, who worked with Arcade Fire on the LP. The band hasn’t announced a name yet, but it seems possible their fourth album could be called Reflektor.
