Will Ferrell Steals Scene in ‘The Internship’ Bonus Clip
In The Internship, blue-collar salesmen Billy (Vince Vaughn) and Nick (Owen Wilson) are facing extinction in the Internet age. But after landing internships at Google, the unlikely upstarts attempt to revamp their careers, facing stiff competition in the form of smart, over-achieving millennials. It’s a classic fish-out-of-water story – and a perfect platform for the improvisations of Vaughn and Wilson, the comedic duo who previously starred in 2005’s Wedding Crashers.
‘SNL’ Adds a New Verse to ‘Accidental Racist’ With Vince Vaughn Hosting
On October 22nd, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment will release an unrated version of the film on Blu-fay and DVD. Both versions include an array of bonus features (including commentary with director Shawn Levy), and the Blu-ray edition comes with a handful of deleted scenes.
In one of them, premiering here exclusively, Billy and Nick attend their first cosplay party, where they run into Kevin (Will Ferrell), the perverted boyfriend of Nick’s sister. Kevin, dressed as Star Wars bounty hunter Boba Fett, is awkwardly aroused by the sight of another costumed nerd: “Check out this hot little number,” he says. “I don’t know if it’s an ewok or a space squirrel. I can’t wait to rip into that!”
The Blu-ray combo pack is currently available for pre-order at Amazon.
