Slayer, Anthrax, Death Angel Unite for Fall Tour
Slayer, Anthrax and Death Angel will form a touring metal trinity this fall. The tour launches September 9th in Cleveland and concluding October 27th. The seven-week jaunt will find Slayer and Anthrax reunited after a 2015 European run.
“It’s always super fun for us to tour with Anthrax,” Slayer guitarist Kerry King said in a statement. “[Anthrax Bassist Frank Bello] is one of my best friends in the biz! Put that together with Death Angel, and fans will probably see the best package this year. See you there!”
“We are very excited to tour again with our fellow Kings Slayer on a thrash/metal extravaganza,” added Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante. “Two of the Big Four – now that’s a night of metal for all the Kings and Queens!”
“Slayer/Anthrax/Death Angel – it just looks, sounds and feels right,” said Death Angel frontman Mark Osegueda. “This will be Death Angel’s first-ever tour with Slayer, something we’ve hungered for our entire career. And we will bring that hunger to the stage every night.”
Slayer released their 12th LP, Repentless, in September, and Anthrax issued their 11th, For All Kings, in February. Death Angel’s eighth record, The Evil Divide, will be issued on May 27th.
