Sinead O’Connor to Arsenio Hall: ‘Suck My D–k’
Sinead O’Connor has responded to Arsenio Hall’s $5 million lawsuit – filed after the singer accused the late-night host of dealing drugs to Prince – with a Facebook post where she shrugged off “Arse-inio’s laughable threats.”
“I’m more amused than I’ve ever dreamed a person could be and look forward very much to how hilarious it will be watching him trying to prove me wrong,” the singer, who famously covered Prince‘s “Nothing Compares 2 U,” wrote.
Hall filed a libel lawsuit against O’Connor soon after she penned a May 2nd Facebook post where she accused the host of being Prince’s drug dealer. “Two words for the DEA investigating where Prince got his drugs over the decades…Arsenio Hall (AKA Prince’s and Eddie Murphy’s bitch),” the singer wrote May 2nd. “Anyone imagining Prince was not a long time hard drug user is living in cloud cuckoo land.” The singer also detailed an incident where she claimed Hall spiked the marijuana she was given at a post-Grammys party at Eddie Murphy’s house.
Since O’Connor’s Facebook post, the DEA and the U.S. Attorney’s Office revealed that they have joined in on the investigation into Prince’s death, specifically who allegedly supplied the artist with painkillers. It’s unclear whether Hall’s alleged involvement is part of the investigation, but O’Connor took credit for getting the federal agency on the case.
“I’m also very happy to notice that the DEA have taken me seriously enough to be thoroughly questioning all of Prince’s friends and aides from the last thirty years as to his KNOWN history of hard drug use and where he obtained his drugs. I do not like drugs killing musicians,” O’Connor wrote. “And I do not like Arsenio Hall. He can suck my dick.”
