Jimmy Buffett to Headline Huge Atlantic City Beach Concert Series
Parrotheads will unite August 13th at the Jersey Shore, as Jimmy Buffettt & the Coral Reefer Band will headline the first of three huge shows in the 2016 Atlantic City Beach Concert Series.
Set on the sands that separate the Atlantic Ocean from the famed Atlantic City Beach boardwalk, this year’s concert series marks the largest ever in the history of the beach. Rolling Stone Country has the exclusive announcement of the three big shows, which are presented by Live Nation in partnership with the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA): Buffett’s headlining gig in August will also feature G. Love & Special Sauce, and will be followed by Zac Brown Band with Drake White and the Big Fire on September 1st. The September 3rd event packs a quadruple punch: Florida Georgia Line will cap a night that also features Cole Swindell, the Cadillac Three and Kane Brown.
Tickets for the Zac Brown Band evening go on sale May 27th via Ticketmaster. Jimmy Buffett & the Coral Reefer Band tickets will be available June 3rd, and tickets for the night headlined by Florida Georgia Line go on sale June 10th. There will be general admission and Gold Circle tickets, with the latter giving fans a spot closer to the stage.
Buffett is in the middle of his I Don’t Know tour, which kicked off last month in Virginia Beach and will hit Austin and Nashville later this month. Zac Brown Band’s Black Out the Sun tour with Drake White began last night in Hartford, Connecticut, and runs through September. And Florida Georgia Line’s Dig Your Roots trek, named after the duo’s upcoming album, began in March and has dates on the calendar through November.
