Bonnie Raitt, Miguel, Chicago Among Eclectic ‘Greatest Hits’ TV Lineup
ABC’s Greatest Hits, which will premiere later this month, showcases live performances from contemporary artists and heritage acts who will take the stage to highlight their decade-defining songs from the Eighties, Nineties and 2000s. The show previously announced its hosts Kelsea Ballerini and Arsenio Hall and they’ve now revealed their first round of performers. The lineup spans the genre gamut, including a diverse mix such as Bonnie Raitt, Miguel and Chicago. Also as it has been billed, the show includes artists that have made waves in the last three decades.
As Billboard reports, the eclectic lineup will feature Andra Day, Backstreet Boys, Bonnie Raitt, Boyz II Men, Cee Lo Green, Chicago, Coolio, En Vogue, Foreigner, Jason Derulo, John Legend, Little Big Town, LL Cool J, Meghan Trainor, Miguel, Pitbull, REO Speedwagon, Rick Springfield, Wilson Phillips and Wiz Khalifa.
The six-episode series will air artists performing their hits, and as Deadline reports, the show will broadcast solo performances, duets and tributes.
Greatest Hits premieres on June 30th and will air each Thursday through August 4th. The show will divide the three-decade timespan into five-year sections, with each episode centered on that half-decade period.
