Tyler Farr Placed on Vocal Rest, Cancels Shows
Lee Brice and Tyler Farr were originally due to launch their Life Off My Years Tour next Thursday, February 4th, but Farr will not be making the journey this year. The “Better in Boots” singer has been placed on vocal rest following an emergency vocal cord surgery to remove a polyp.
“The doctor promises nothing but a better recovery and I owe it to y’all — my fans, country music radio, everybody that’s had any part in my career — I owe it to y’all to be a hundred percent and to be able to give you my best every day, every night,” says Farr in a Facebook video.
As a result, Brice has reorganized his touring plans and added guests Maddie & Tae, Clare Dunn and Jerrod Niemann to support him on select shows. Singer-songwriter Dylan Scott will still open all dates.
Additionally, Brice has canceled his shows on February 18th (Southaven, Mississippi), 19th (Augusta, Georgia) and 20th (Pikeville, Kentucky).
