Watch Donald Trump List His Assorted ‘Loves’ in ‘Kimmel’ Supercut
“For all the negative stuff Donald Trump puts out there, for all the insults and threats and general nastiness, he also spreads a lot of love,” Jimmy Kimmel said during Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday. To prove it, the host compiled the affection into a supercut – or a “powerful Donald Trump love bomb” – of the GOP frontrunner pandering to supporters at rallies across the nation.
In the clip, Trump shares his love for “building buildings,” “this country,” “the old days,” “hopping around,” NASCAR, Idaho (and potatoes), his protestors, his life, “the military,” “the Wounded Warriors,” China, “the Mexican people,” “the Mormons” and – in one of his strangest campaign statements – “the poorly educated.” The video ends with a terrifying stream of “I love yous” that grows more terrifying as it accelerates.
“The first thing you have to learn is to love yourself, and clearly he does,” Kimmel cracks.
Trump’s presidential run has given the host plenty of late-night ammo. Earlier in March, Kimmel showcased a supercut of Trump bragging about his famous friends – from Michael Jackson to Muhammad Ali.
During a campaign rally on Sunday night, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and Dr. Ben Carson danced along to a performance cover of “Stand By Me.” Watch our mashup of moments when the two stood together in solidarity.
