Watch Conor McGregor Beat the S–t Out of Conan O’Brien
Conor McGregor nearly decapitated the actual Conan O’Brien during an appearance on his show last week – and he treated virtual Coco even worse.
In the latest installment of Conan’s “Clueless Gamer” series, Mac faced off against O’Brien in EA Sports‘ UFC 2, and not surprisingly, he dominated from the moment they stepped inside the Octagon. After all, just because the two are friends, didn’t mean the Notorious One was going to take it easy on his opponent. And he gave him plenty of warning, too.
“I like you Conan, but I’m going to whoop your ass,” McGregor said.
So he did just that, dishing out Capoeira kicks and flurries of punches to O’Brien’s video-game dome – EA made a custom Conan character for the occasion, and boy, could he take punishment – before knocking him to the mat and pummeling his face mercilessly. And although he was bloodied and beaten, Conan kept coming back for more.
“I can take much more abuse than that,” O’Brien joked. “I’ve been married for 14 years.”
To be fair, O’Brien did manage to knock McGregor down once, though Conor quickly recovered and took him out yet again. Perhaps if Conan would’ve fought as Nate Diaz – who took down McGregor at UFC 196 – things would’ve turned out differently. Then again, after watching O’Brien furiously mash buttons while Mac calmly stalked him inside the Octagon, we don’t think this one was going to end any other way.
Did Beast Mode and Gronk teach you nothing, Conan?!?
