Guns N’ Roses Confirm North American Tour
UPDATE: Guns N’ Roses have added four dates to their upcoming Not in This Lifetime tour. The band will play additional dates in Chicago (July 3rd at Soldier Field), Foxboro, MA (July 20th at Gillette Stadium) and East Rutherford, NJ (July 24th at Metlife Stadium) and have added a show at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium on August 18th. Tickets go on sale April 29th at Live Nation’s website.
It’s official: The Guns N’ Roses reunion is hitting the road. After months of just scheduling gigs at Coachella, Las Vegas and Mexico City, Axl Rose, Slash, Duff McKagan and the rest of the band’s current iteration of (but not Izzy Stradlin) have revealed what 21 cities they’ll perform in this summer.
Although the band hasn’t unveiled what venues or even what dates they’ll be arriving in each city, GN’R fans in those 21 markets can rest easy knowing that the reunion tour is on its way, eventually. The band announced the tour with a video showing crowds cheering along to the GN’R classic “Patience,” which doubles as a message to fans who have long waited for this trek.
The somewhat-reunited Guns N’ Roses will make their return to the stage April 8th and 9th at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena, which will be followed by headlining shows at the two Coachella Festival weekends, with a pair of Mexico City concerts sandwiched in-between.
