Watch Fifth Harmony, Ty Dolla $ign ‘Work From Home’ in New Video
Fifth Harmony and Ty Dolla $ign take over a construction site in the sexy clip for the pop group’s new single “Work From Home.” The track appears on their forthcoming sophomore LP 7/27, set for release on May 20th.
Director X helmed the clip that features 5H seducing construction workers building a house. The group dances in and around the house and are later joined by the rapper, who most recently appeared on Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo.
Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui spoke with Rolling Stone about the filming of the video and how the group instantly “vibed” with Director X. “He’s such a cool person,” she said. “He came into the room while I was getting my make-up done and gave me my numerology and told me what it means and what cycle I’m in. It really actually helped me clear my head a little bit.”
Their upcoming LP 7/27, the group’s follow-up to their 2015 debut Reflection is named after the day Simon Cowell put them together on The X Factor. As a double-meaning to the numbers, Jauregui revealed to RS that the reference to a 727 jet also indicates how they hope to “take off” with this new album.
