Kraftwerk Bringing 3-D Concerts Back to U.S. in September
Kraftwerk will bring their visually stunning, unparalleled 3-D concerts back to North America this September with nine more performances. The new dates come a year after the electronic music icons first brought their trek to the U.S. with a 12-city, 14-date tour last September.
The string of new dates kicks off with a Baltimore/Washington, D.C. area concert on September 3rd and winds its way westward through Texas, culminating with a September 18th performance at Los Angeles’ historic Hollywood Bowl. Tickets for all but the Hollywood Bowl concert go on sale April 29th at 10 a.m. local time. Check out the Kraftwerk site for full ticket information.
“Our music is changing in time, so we always play different versions; sometimes we change the tempos and sound, Kraftwerk‘s lead singer and keyboardist Ralf Hütter told Rolling Stone before embarking on their 2015 U.S. tour. “Sometimes there’s different traffic on the autobahn. It’s all real. That’s what makes it interesting. Our compositions are like minimalistic film scripts or theater scripts. We can work with this; it’s never going to be the same. It changes over the years.”
