Watch Nuns Tina Fey, Amy Poehler Help ‘Broad City’ Girls
Broad City‘s Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer get some holy help from Tina Fey and Amy Poehler in the hilarious Comedy Central “Sisters” sketch.
In the clip, Jacobson and Glazer play a pair of delinquent sisters facing charges for vandalism, gambling and larceny when another pair of sisters — a pair of nuns played by Fey and Poehler — offer their assistance in turning the bad girls’ lives around. The nuns teach the sisters how to pray on a rosary, even though the girls are Jewish, and later “test” their bongs after confiscating them. “You guys are sisters; we’re sisters,” Glazer’s character states. “We can make a movie about us all and call it Sisters.”
“Maybe Too Many Sisters by Two,” Poehler responds. Fey adds, “I don’t think people want to see that many women talking at once. They’ll be like ‘Ah, what are you yelling about?’ Just look at The View.”
Later, Glazer and Jacobson find out that the nuns were not so good and holy after all once they realize that the pair stole a watch and a bong from them. “I’m going to tell time all night … at your mom’s house,” Fey proclaims at the end.
Poehler and Fey co-star in the upcoming movie Sisters, out December 18th. The pair will co-host Saturday Night Live together the night after its release, on December 19th, with Bruce Springsteen as musical guest.
