Watch Icona Pop Perform Percolating New Song ‘Someone Who Can Dance’
Icona Pop performed at the Swedish Grammys on Wednesday where they premiered new song, “Someone Who Can Dance.” Fellow Swedish artists Zara Larsson and Elliphant joined Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt for their upbeat performance.
In the clip, they sing, “I want someone that can dance, not someone I can talk to” during the chorus while they move through choreographed dance moves. The percolating single, which was co-written by Jawo, Hjelt and producer Jarrad Rogers, is a return to the club-ready, electro-pop form of their breakout hit, “I Love It.”
Following their performance, the duo announced that they have released the single. “Someone Who Can Dance is out on Spotify and iTunes now!” Icona Pop tweeted.
Icona Pop released their Emergency EP last July, the same month they headed on a 23-date stadium tour where they opened for One Direction.
