Kanye West: Taylor Swift ‘Had Two Seconds To Be Cool and She F–ked It Up’
Kanye West had harsh words for Taylor Swift following her public response to West’s “Famous” lyrics about her during her Grammy acceptance speech. The rapper spoke out against the pop star during an appearance at Los Angeles nightclub 1OAK.
“She not cool no more,” he stated after recounting the time he allegedly first played “Famous” for Swift over the phone. According to West, she liked the line where the rapper said, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex.” A representative for Swift had previously revealed that the singer told him that the lines were misogynistic. “She had two seconds to be cool and she fucked it up,” West continued.
At the Grammys, Taylor Swift won her second Album of the Year trophy, and during her acceptance speech, she alluded to West’s claims that he “made that bitch famous,” as he rapped on his Life of Pablo track. “There are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame,” she said.
West also debuted a new song during his 1OAK appearance. “Closest Thing to Einstein” features Sampha and alludes to the response to his recent Twitter tirades, his debts and his believe that he’s as influential as historic visionaries and geniuses like Michael Jackson and Albert Einstein.
