Kip Moore Extends Wild Ones Tour into 2016
If 2015 follows his usual pattern, Kip Moore will close out the year with a trip to some tropical destination for some worry-free surfing, where he can recharge his batteries following a busy season that included the release of his acclaimed album Wild Ones and an accompanying headlining tour. But he’ll want to hang-10 before January 28th, when he embarks on the second leg of his Wild Ones Tour in cold Milwaukee.
The extended Wild Ones Tour runs through February 27th and will take Moore — whose current single is the Wild Ones standout “Running for You” — from the Midwest through British Columbia and Alberta before heading back down the West Coast. Chase Bryant and the Cadillac Three will join Moore on select dates.
Though he hasn’t had a Top Five single since “Hey Pretty Girl,” Moore has continued to expand his fanbase the old-fashioned way: with passionate live performances and a relentless touring schedule that typically leaves him drained.
“My body is just pushed to the very end,” Moore told Rolling Stone Country back in August. “I’ve done two-hundred-plus shows a year for three straight years, and I’m on track to do it again this year. I talk to my other [artists] buddies and they’re like, ‘Naw, we’re not doin’ that.’ What am I doing to myself?”
