Watch Hillary Clinton School Kids Who Think Women Can’t Be President
Thursday night Jimmy Kimmel assembled a group of children to solicit their opinions on whether a woman could be president. The future men in the group were not initially sold on the idea.
“They are too girly. They’ll make, like, girl rules,” young Jayden said. For example: “Free makeup for the world.”
Andrew chimes in, “They’ll probably decorate [the White House] and make it all girly. They might even paint it pink.”
Luckily, a certain presidential candidate happened to be close by. Hillary Clinton dropped in to school the kids on gender parity and disabuse them of the notion that women are too weak to be commander-in-chief.
Clinton did cut the kids who remained unconvinced a little slack. “We haven’t had a woman to be president yet, so we need to have a woman to be president, and then you would have more evidence to base your decision on,” she said.
