Kanye West Announces ‘The Life of Pablo’ Pop-Up Shop
Kanye West announced via Twitter a New York City pop-up shop in support of his work-in-progress album The Life of Pablo. The store will be located at 83 Wooster Street from March 18th through March 20th.
West had previously hosted pop-up shops for 2013’s Yeezus and his 2011 Jay Z collaboration Watch the Throne. While the 2011 store sold only physical copies of the album, his 2013 store sold Yeezus-themed merchandise. West did not elaborate on what will be available in the new store, but he did note that it would be open from 4pm-8pm EST on Friday and from 12pm-8pm EST on Saturday and Sunday.
The rapper has been continuously updating The Life of Pablo since releasing it following an appearance on Saturday Night Live last month. The album has been exclusively available for streaming-only on Tidal, which is where West intends to exclusively keep the album with no plans to release a physical CD. Earlier this week, West updated the album for a second time, with a new version of “Wolves” following a revamp of “Famous.”
