Justin Bieber, James Corden Sing, Flee Paparazzi in ‘Carpool Karaoke’
James Corden called on Justin Bieber again to help him beat the Los Angeles traffic and sing a slew of hits in the latest installment of The Late Late Show‘s “Carpool Karaoke.”
Between potent, rousing renditions of Bieber’s “Never Say Never” and “What Do You Mean?” Corden and the singer discussed possible nicknames for the late-night host’s fans (“the Corlievers”) and ducked paparazzi. After considering whether Corden could pull off one of Bieber’s lengthy dress-like shirts, the pair hit a boutique where they selected each other’s swag.
“I am a father of two, does this say, ‘Father of two?'” Corden asked, as he modeled ridiculous streetwear.
“It says, ‘I’m a little lost as an adult,'” Bieber cracked.
Outside the shop, the pair were met by a swarm of paparazzi and fans. While Corden cowered, Bieber bravely shrouded the host’s face, led him safely to the car and screamed, “This is life in a fishbowl, dude. Stop, stop, stop, stop taking his photo! He has to live like this!”
Safely back in the car, Corden and Bieber closed out their trip with a medley for the ages: Kanye West’s “Stronger,” Alanis Morissette’s “Ironic” (one of Bieber’s all-time favorites) and “Sorry,” the pop star’s latest Purpose hit.
