UFC’s Nate Diaz to Justin Bieber: ‘Shut Your Bitch Ass Up’
Nate Diaz went into UFC 196 with middle fingers blazing, beat Conor McGregor down, and called everyone a motherfucker before leaving Las Vegas. So really, Justin Bieber is getting off easy.
Hours after Diaz upset McGregor on Saturday night, Bieber took to Instagram to express his admiration for the Irish fighter, calling him “a true champion” who “fights with style and finesse.” Biebs apparently didn’t feel quite the same way about Diaz, giving him respect for the win, but adding, “his style is terrible.”
Not surprisingly, that slight didn’t sit well with the Stockton Slugger – though at least he didn’t track Bieber down and lock in a rear-naked choke. Instead, Diaz dished out a digital diss, posting an Instagram image of him slapping Bieber across the face and telling him “Shut Your Bitch Ass Up.”
“Biebers [sic] a hater,” Diaz added (like we’re going to correct his punctuation).
Following his win over McGregor at UFC 196, Diaz downplayed his role of the underdog – “I’m not surprised, motherfuckers,” he proclaimed – and said he knew from the moment he signed up for the fight (with just 11 days to prepare) that he’d win.
“I knew I was the superior boxer, the superior martial artist, the superior jiu-jitsu. Like I said from the beginning, I have the best training partners in the world in every aspect,” Diaz said. “Nothing surprised me except that I got hit at all. I think with a full camp I would have been flawless, but it’s whatever. I’m not surprised.”
Perhaps because he knows what could happen to him, Bieber has yet to respond to Diaz’s jabs – maybe he should leave that to his good friend Floyd Mayweather?
