James Blake Releases Surprise ‘The Colour in Anything’ Album
James Blake has released his third full-length album, The Colour in Anything. During Annie Mac’s BBC 1 radio show on Thursday afternoon, the singer announced he would unveil the surprise album that evening. The follow-up to 2013’s Overgrown features collaborations with Bon Iver and Frank Ocean, who is credited with co-writing the album. It was co-produced by Rick Rubin.
Prior to its release on Thursday evening, the artist shared three of the 17 tracks, including lead song “Radio Silence,” “I Need a Forest Fire” with Bon Iver, and “My Willing Heart.” He also unveiled the track list on Instagram.

The singer was also recently featured on Beyoncé’s Lemonade, where he contributed vocals and production on “Forward” and co-wrote “Pray You Catch Me.”
