Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Merle Haggard Set for Watershed Festival
The lineup for the fifth annual Watershed Music and Camping Festival has been unveiled and the two-weekend event, set for mid-summer, has a lineup designed to cater to a wide array of country music fans.
Jason Aldean, Eric Church and Keith Urban will headline both weekends of the festival, which takes place at the Gorge Amphitheatre overlooking the scenic Columbia River in George, Washington. Country Music Hall of Fame member Merle Haggard is also on the bill, along with Brothers Osborne, Brett Eldredge, Neal McCoy, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves, A Thousand Horses, Tyler Farr, David Nail, Jon Pardi, RaeLynn and Travis Tritt. More performers are expected to be announced later.
Watershed is earning a reputation befitting of its name, as this year marks the first time a country-music festival has been held over two consecutive weekends. Launched in 2011, the festival helped set the template for newer country concert destinations, including Faster Horses in Brooklyn, Michigan, Route 91 Harvest in Las Vegas, the Windy City LakeShake in Chicago and FarmBorough in New York City. This will be the first time that Church, Aldean and Urban will perform at the Gorge, in front of fans who refer to themselves as “‘Shedders.”
The Watershed Festival will be held July 29th to 31st and August 5th through the 7th. Passes go on sale Friday, January 29th, at 10:00 a.m. P.T.
