Watch Fifth Harmony’s Playful ‘Write on Me’ Video
Fifth Harmony debuted the simple, black-and-white clip for new single “Write on Me.” Their sophomore album, 7/27, will be released on May 27th.
In the clip, the women are in separate shots, soloing on the power ballad and dancing in front of gray backgrounds after they transform from sketches of their silhouettes into their actual selves. They sit on stools, belt into microphones and later pose ensemble in front of the camera like it’s a photobooth.
The song has a tropical Kygo-esque house beat and a tender delivery above the beat. “Everything is gray until you draw me, touchin’ on my body like you know,” member Camila Cabello sings during the pre-chorus.
The group’s album follows up last year’s Reflection, which featured singles “Sledgehammer” and “Worth It” featuring Kid Ink. Their latest single “Work From Home” was released in February.
