Primal Scream Announce New Album ‘Chaosmosis’
Scottish rockers Primal Scream have announced the title and track list for their 11th studio album. Chaosmosis will be released on March 18th via their own imprint First International and is available for pre-order.
The LP will follow up the band’s acclaimed 2013 album More Light, which featured the single “It’s Alright, It’s OK.” Their album before More Light, 2008’s Beautiful Future, was the group’s first without founding member and guitarist Robert “Throb” Young, who left that band in 2006 and passed away last year. Beautiful Future featured a hefty list of guest collaborators, including Linda Thompson, Lovefoxxx, Lykke Li and Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age.
Along with the album announce, the band have released a string of 2016 live dates in Scotland and England. The band will perform at Glasgow’s ABC and London’s Palladium alongside appearances at Common People in May and Down to the Woods in Durham, England in August. Tickets go on sale on December 10th for the non-festival dates in the spring.
